Today we’re going to be talking about that three-letter word that we all cringed at usually when it comes that time of the year.
What am I talking about?
You guessed it. Tax season.
When I mention tax, the majority of people who hear about it goes, “Ugh,” roll their eyes, and say, “I got to pay taxes”, “I got to deal with taxes,” and so on and so forth.
One of our team members recently said this time of the year is kind of funky when it comes to people paying the payments that they’re supposed to be paying, whether be paying their bills, paying their invoices, because of this waiting thing that happens.
The most common responses we hear are:
“I’m going to be waiting for my tax return”
“I’m waiting for my returns”
“I’ll wait until I know what I’m going to do with my tax return”
But the key thing that I want to talk about today is the term “wait”. Because every time we incorporate the term “wait” or “waiting for” as it comes to money and prosperity, because believe it or not paying taxes is part of the cycle of high prosperity and abundance.
What I want you to pay attention to today is that if you’re one of those people who are “waiting” for your tax return, which is also another form of energy around money or you’re waiting to do your taxes which is a necessary part of your prosperity, and your financial and your money management, what else are you waiting for? How is that waiting impacting your prosperity?
So, I know we talked about all the time, one of our taglines here at The 6 Figure Academy is “What are you waiting for?” and there’s a reason behind that. It’s because when you are waiting, that energy basically stops all other energy. You think you’re the only one that’s waiting when you wait for something? You literally stop everything else that’s happening and moving in the machine of your life of prosperity, abundance, and money, and revenue, and business because it’s waiting on you waiting on something else.
So, for example, if you’re waiting for the tax return to come in, why wait for it? Why not focus on what it is that you want to use that for, how much do you need to get what it is that you want, and then take care of it and get it now. In other words, don’t just spent what you have now, but think of a way because you’re an entrepreneur, you have a business, think of a way to create that revenue now, today, so that you can get what you want instead of waiting for the government or the tax return to come in.
Now, on the flip side, if you’re waiting to take care of a payment or take care to pay your taxes because you want to use this money for something else, that activity is literally going to stop you. No, I don’t mean pay your taxes so far ahead of time that it doesn’t make any sense. But when it comes down time for you to pay, pay what you need to pay because that energy will cycle up. Just like they say, “Every once in awhile, it’s good to clean out blood and donate blood because it allows your new blood cycles or new blood cells to come in.” You need to do the same thing. That money is part of that recycling piece, and paying your taxes is one of them. Not waiting for your tax return is also another one.
