Today, I’d like to share with you something that will change the way you look at success, especially as an entrepreneur.
See, we became entrepreneurs for a reason, primarily to solve a problem. Some of us starting off wanting to solve a problem in our own lives, and that’s great! Eventually, we made a business out of it because we realized that in solving our own problems we can solve problems for many many other people with our products or services.
To be truly successful as an entrepreneur we can’t work for a definition of success that is not our own.
In other words every single one of us as entrepreneurs have our own unique definition of what success is in our lives. If you find yourself working for a definition of success that is not uniquely yours, you will hit a wall whether it be in your sales or your motivation and inspiration.
The latter is especially dangerous since you’ll find yourself just going through the motions, and without your motivation and inspiration, eventually you burn out.
So here’s what to do:
1) Define very clearly what success truly means to you. (the secret component comes next!!)
2) Envision how you know you’re going to get it.
3) And then, in order to activate your success in the most powerful way possible, you add the secret component: courage.
Almost all successful, prosperous and abundantly happy people in the world have this one single word in common and that’s courage.
Now you might of courage as courage in the face of danger, or courage to do something that is right, or the courage to do something new, but this type of courage is ubiquitous to all, it will cover all these things.
When it comes to your success, you need to activate your entire being by having the courage to want that success that uniquely you more than anybody else on this planet.
If you can’t say you do, that definition of success isn’t truly yours.
It’s really that simple.
So if you want to start taking your success to another level, or if you find yourself stuck or you find yourself becoming uninspired on motivating your business, then maybe this is exactly what you need to do.
Maybe you haven’t put your stake down and establish that commitment to have the courage to say that I want this more than anybody else and nobody could possibly want this type of success more than me.
