Money Stories with Randall Dobbins
I grew up poor but you’d never know it. My mother shielded the 5 kids from the pressure and anxiety of being poor by managing our expectations on what we could get and when we could get it. She also knew what to get us to keep us happy when she did have extra. I grew up believing that money would show up when I needed it based upon how my mom managed my expectations. Money, however, doesn’t just show up when you are an adult. The biggest lesson I’ve had to learn about money was how to use it a resource rather than an objective. This approach alone has helped me to propel my business and have a lifestyle that I really enjoy.
